Amphibians that Start with the letter E
Frogs are interesting creatures, and there are quite a few of them hopping and ribbeting around on the list of Amphibians that start with the letter E! And among them, one that may make you take a double take is the Edible Frog.
The only edible frog we may think of eating is one of those chocolate frogs in Harry Potter, but that’s not the case in some Southern states in the U.S. and in countries such as Turkey, France, and Indonesia. Edible Frogs, courtesy of its name, is among a select few frogs that are safe to consume. It is costumery in those particular regions to eat frog legs, and sadly the Edible Frog is on that menu. (3)
Along with the amphibian’s common name, in parenthesis is the critter’s genus (1) and species (2)!

Although these pups were bred to assist hunters, they have been known for more than their hunting abilities. Reptiles that Start with the letter E
There’s lots of slithering going on here on the list of Reptiles that start with the letter E, but we’re going to shine our spotlight on the mysterious Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake.
Of course when we hear rattlesnake, we immediately associate it with words like poisonous and danger. And you’re not far off, you don’t want to poke around with an Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake for they contain a venom that is deadly to humans (though human death from rattlesnake bites is a fairly rare occurrence with the antivenom that is available). These critters don’t like to be around humans, so it’s not likely you’ll come across one, but if you do you’ll be sure to hear it before you likely see it with the Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake’s rattle.
